StayCover for Hosts works with your house rules, security deposit settings (where available), and Bnb Booking support. It is not a substitute for home insurance.
What hosts should still have
Keep landlord or homeowner insurance that allows short stays. StayCover for Hosts is a platform support programme for eligible booking-related issues, not a full property policy.
- Document the home with timestamped photos before and after stays
- Write clear house rules (parties, smoking, occupancy)
- Report damage quickly through the reservation, with evidence
How claims are reviewed
Support compares the reservation, messages, and photos. Ordinary wear and tear is not covered. Intentional damage, unauthorised parties, or missing items may be eligible depending on the case and your listing settings.
We may help you message the guest for resolution first. If that fails, the team reviews next steps.
