Policies
Cancellation options
Every listing shows its cancellation policy before you book. Refunds follow that policy.
Flexible, moderate, and stricter policies give hosts control and guests a clear refund timeline. Always read the policy on the listing page for your dates.
For guests
The policy on the listing at the time you book is the one that applies. Typical patterns:
- Flexible โ full refund if you cancel far enough before check-in (see the listing for the exact cutoff).
- Moderate โ full refund with more notice; partial refund closer to arrival.
- Stricter โ limited or no refund near check-in, except where required by law or StayCover.
Service fees may be refundable or non-refundable depending on when you cancel. The checkout summary shows the policy name; the listing page shows the details.
For hosts
Choose a policy that matches how you run the home. Last-minute host cancellations harm guests and can affect your listing status. If you must cancel, tell the guest immediately and contact support so we can help them rebook.
Keep your calendar accurate. Blocking dates after a booking is confirmed is treated as a host cancellation.
